Used to sing a lot of songs about burning cop cars.
Used to feel sad 'til the pills took his feelings away.
Now he just sits at home
Wondering how to get the bedbugs gone.

This is what he gets
For thinking
Things were going great.
When will he start again?

He got fired from his job.
Went to the pawn shop and sold his guitar,
Ran out of pills and he gambled all his money away.
Now he lives in his car.
He don't have a lot of gas so he can't go far.
Even if he did he'd have nowhere else to stay.
